The wine will greet you with a little rose petal aroma on the nose, followed by dark cherry, boysenberry, plum, and blueberry with hints of toasted vanilla. On the finish you will note a little anise and white pepper along with dry tannins.
This medium to full-bodied wine pairs well with meat and strong cheese dishes.
